Welcome to KWALATA CAMPS, Since 1994

Kwalata Adventure Camp has established itself over the last 30 years, presenting Adventure & Leadership programs.

The camp site dedicated and purposely built for school & youth groups. The theme — adventure in the bush veld, where evening camp fires and early morning coffee takes president. Situated in the Dinokeng Big5 Reserve, Gauteng our environment, learning about ourselves & others are central to all our activities.

“Respect”, “one for all and all for one”, “Fun” — our creed and way of life. We are delighted to extend this invitation to view our world.

TWO Camps to choose from: Phiri Camp: 40-180 learners +16 staff & Phiri Enyane Camp: 12-40 learners + 4 staff. Covid19 Restriction: Numbers allowed depending on restriction level at the time.

We offer fully catered camp site, rooms with bunkbeds, and communal ablution. Back to basic camping also available where we camp on the banks of the Moretele river, around campfire and under African skies.
